Thank you all who came to our annual fundraising picnic on Jun 23 and spent time with us enjoying delicious food and bidding on awesome auctioned items. We raised $8500 THANK YOU. These funds will help people of Ukraine to fight for their freedom, survive and resist.
This combat medic (call sign Dwarf) gave his jacket to a wounded comrade during the evac from the battlefield. The jacket was covered in blood and had to be cut off by the triage team. We were able to provide a new jacket to replace the lost one in the nick of time.
Children from Nadia orphanage send you thanks for helping repairing basement in their dormitory. Your donations made it happen.

Small things add up to large good deeds. Collection of children clothes from multiple people and organizations finally arrived to refugees near Cherkassy.

Since the beginning of the war, our organization sent hundreds of items of Ukrainian soldiers including summer uniforms, thermal clothing, shoes , socks, helmets. We want them to know that the whole world is supporting their fight for freedom! Glory to Ukraine!
We were able to send 800lb of winter clothing for the Trypilia boarding school for kids with special needs

On October 23, 2022, Helping Hands for Ukraine hosted a Happy Hour Fundraiser at Jolly Pumpkin, Royal Oak for DTE Energy employees and vendor partners – Strategic Staffing Solutions, AHEAD, Prolifics, Neudesic, Slalom, Vectorform, and EY. Collectively, the event generated $17,653 through ticket sales, direct donations, auction items, raffle tickets, and Sunflower Sunrise Co purchases. The funds raised will be utilized to provide direct aid to orphanages in Ukraine, including rebuilding orphanage facilities and providing clothing for the orphaned children to keep them warm in the coming winter months. We couldn’t do this without your support and would like to sincerely thank all contributors for your generous donations and outpouring of support!
During our picnic on September 25, we were able to raise enough money to get 23 full winter uniforms for soldiers. This includes warm jackets, wool socks, thermal underwear, etc. These uniforms were sent to the military unit we have been supporting from the beginning of the war and hopefully will keep soldiers safe during winter.

Getting to Ukraine.
All monetary donations will be utilized to purchase supplies from the priority items list. Purchased and donated supplies will be shipped to Ukraine (via air transport to Poland and ground transport to Ukraine). In Ukraine, the supplies will be distributed to the people in need through local, established foundations. Helping Hands for Ukraine will communicate updates of the impact of the fundraising efforts on our Facebook page.
